Merseyside PTE Leyland National 2 Fleet No 6156 bought for preservation.To be restored back to MPTE Green and Cream.
Would anyone be able to help me with any pictures of 6156 in service.

This site contains pictures of MTL NORTH BUSES in Goodwins Carlton,Barnsley.The main breaker for the vast amount of Titans-Atlanteans and Nationals to be scrapped from when Arriva bought MTL. Goodwins has now closed after an era of over 40 years. Lots more pictures to follow.

Also some black and white photos of MPTE St Helens scrap Buses in the 80s would like to here off anyone who would have any photos of the AEC Swifts in breakers yards.

EX St.Helens Leyland PD2 fleet no 29 RDJ729 returned from Victoria B.C
For preservation after giving 30 years further service with Grayline Tours of Victoria.
It was one of eight Ex St helens Buses shipped to B.C in 1974 where it was to rejoin Fleet nos 176-179 and 28-31.
On its return journey to the UK,the bus was towed to the port of Victoria where it was then transported by bardge to Vancouver at Vancouver it was then towed to Timberland road, Surrey,B.C where it was then loaded onto a TTX rail car for transportation by rail to the Port of Montreal Cast Terminal where it was then loaded onto a 40ft flatrack CAXU517567 then shipped to the Port of Liverpool aboard THE CAST PREMIER VESSEL.Our thanks go out to Fraser Simm ENG Mngr at Grayline Tours Canada,Eugene Fenton at Aquamar Shipping Vancouver Highly recomended,Richard at FWD Freight services Liverpool and Finaly Johnsons of Banks Recovery ,Southport.
